CreditDevice appoints Olav de Lange as managing director. Robbert Geluk and Olav de Lange will jointly manage CreditDevice BV from 4 January 2021. Among other things, de Lange will take over from Hans-Peter Vloemans, who will be responsible for CreditDevice International from January 2021. Olav de Lange has years of experience within the credit management industry. After studying political science, he worked at Graydon Netherlands, the collection company TKB and held various positions at the DAS, both in the insurance and collection business.
De Lange is looking forward to starting in his new position. ‘For 25 years, I have been active in the world of credit management. CreditDevice will be the fourth credit management organisation I will work for. I am proud to have the opportunity to join CreditDevice. It is an honour and gives incredible energy to start working with everyone at CreditDevice and be able to be part of the success’.
This appointment provides Hans Geluk, founder of CreditDevice, the opportunity to step down from many of his duties and take things a little easier. Hans will complete all ongoing matters in the first quarter of 2021 and will remain involved in the company as a consultant for the next few years.
Hans Geluk: ‘Olav has been given the task of further increasing the company’s commercial clout. Further sales growth and maintaining our personal service to customers are the main focal points for Olav in the coming years.’
Establishment of CreditDevice International
In addition to the appointment of Olav de Lange, CreditDevice International BV will be established in January 2021 . Hans-Peter Vloemans will be responsible for the international operations and conduct the day-to-day management. Vloemans has been employed by CreditDevice BV since 2017 . The management of CreditDevice International BV consists of Robbert Geluk and Hans-Peter Vloemans.
Vloemans: ‘In recent years, more and more existing Dutch customers have rolled out our software internationally. We also see increasing international interest in our software products online. In addition to our credit management software, we have now been successful for two years with our PolisManager, a software product developed in consultation with Atradius, Coface and Euler Hermes to optimise and facilitate credit insurance policy management. The combination of both solutions is also in demand abroad. We see plenty of opportunities to realise our international ambitions with this’.
