As a trade association, FEBIS strives to promote the common interests of its members. FEBIS not only monitors new legislation, such as data protection and insolvency laws, but also deals with the monitoring and application of public data and information sources. In 1973, some of Europe’s leading credit information agencies joined forces to form the Federation of Business Information Services FEBIS (initially known as FECRO), based in Frankfurt. Today, FEBIS has grown into a comprehensive organization with more than 140 members from around the world, providing business information and collection services both nationally and internationally.

Supported by a combined workforce of more than 30,000 employees, FEBIS members generate more than 1.3 trillion business information and consumer reports annually for more than 1.6 billion European organizations, and provide these clients with invaluable business support. Total revenue of associate members exceeds €12 billion.
