At CreditDevice, we strongly support openness and transparency. That’s why we’re building CreditDevice as the primary platform for all risk and credit management processes. This gives you all information about debtors, limits and disputes directly in one system.
But what if you want to link information from different sources? Or if you also want to have this information available in other systems? Chain integration is becoming increasingly important. Systems must be open, but also securely accessible.
The CreditDevice Web Service gives you new possibilities to integrate data from CreditDevice into, for example, a CRM, accounting or ERP package. It is also possible to implement changes in external packages directly in CreditDevice.
Time-consuming, error-prone and behind the times
All kinds of links are possible between CreditDevice and other applications. You can, of course, exchange information by typing it over. You can also exchange information by exporting and importing Excel files. This way of working only has considerable disadvantages: it is manual, time-consuming and error-prone, and changes are not visible in real time.
Our Web service is the solution to avoid duplication of work and to ensure that changes are available in CreditDevice in real time – or from CreditDevice in your external application.
- Modify or add information in CreditDevice at the file or invoice level
- Exporting information with the Management Information Module
- Import of Open Items and NAW file.
- Being proactively informed via webhooks
The examples below will give you an idea of the benefits for your organization.
What can you use CreditDevice’s Web service for?
Sales colleagues record all customer contacts in a CRM system. A customer files a about an outstanding invoice. When the sales colleague records that complaint in the CRM system, the Web service ensures that it also enters CreditDevice, including the details. That way, the complaint has immediate .
Current financial status
Sales colleagues, before going to a customer, want to understand the customer’s financial status. The moment a file is opened in the CRM system, the Web service retrieves core information about the credit management process from CreditDevice. Thus, the sales colleague always has up-to-date insight.
What other benefits does the CreditDevice Webservice offer?
- Do you want changes recorded in CreditDevice - such as a limit, complaint, collection, note, or action - processed immediately in your ERP system? Webhooks allow you to receive a message immediately after the change, so the ERP system is always aware of all actions in the credit management software.
- Do you use the PolicyManager to manage your credit insurance? When a credit limit is revoked by the insurance company, the Web Service immediately creates a block in the ERP system.
- Would you like to integrate the data from CreditDevice into your BI solution? The lists you created for this purpose in the management information can be processed directly and automatically in the BI solution.
- Do you want to process all credit report changes daily in your order system? The Web Service makes it possible to process these changes automatically. Manual processing of limit changes based on a list in the risk manager becomes unnecessary.
- Are you using a daytime import in addition to the nighttime import, after the bank has been booked? By running this import through the Web Service, the credit management software can flexibly start the import process as soon as you have finished the bank booking.
A few steps are required to successfully exchange data:
How is a linkage established?
- Your organization maps the data to be integrated from CreditDevice into which systems (or vice versa).
- Are you using lists in Management Information or webhooks? If so, these must be set up properly in CreditDevice.
- Your IT colleague or third party writes a piece of code that enables communication between CreditDevice and the other systems.
- For Web service authorization, the system generates a secure token in addition to your "regular login.
